Preparing a Bible Class Takes Time

Every Bible teacher knows the challenge.

You want to teach God's word accurately and effectively, but finding the time to prepare every lesson can be difficult.

Many teachers spend hours each week:

  • Studying commentaries

  • Building PowerPoint slides

  • Organizing lesson flow

  • Creating teaching notes

Those hours add up quickly.

The Understanding Mark Teaching Kit was created to help teachers spend less time preparing and more time teaching.

About Joshua Gordon

Joshua Gordon has had the privilege of preaching and teaching God's Word for more than 20 years while also serving as an elementary school teacher for the last 8 of those years.

At the end of the 2025-26 school year, he quit his 3rd grade teaching position because he felt called to devote more of his time and abilities to producing Bible teaching resources that can help congregations, Bible teachers, and his fellow brothers and sisters in Christ grow in their understanding of God's Word.

With that goal in mind, he's devoting himself full-time to building the Understanding the New Testament Teaching Kits series, which grew out of years of Bible study, sermon preparation, classroom teaching, and a desire to make reliable Bible teaching resources more accessible.

FAQ

Can I edit the slides?

Yes! The PowerPoint presentation is fully editable.

Can I teach this in a Bible class?

Absolutely! That's what it's designed for.

Is this for personal or classroom use?

Both. It's just as effective in a classroom as it is for your own personal study.

How do I receive the files?

After purchase, you'll be automatically directed to a Thank You page with the download links on it. You will also receive a thank you email with the same links in it.

What software do I need?

To access the presentation, you'll need Microsoft PowerPoint. The teacher's notes book and teaching schedules are PDFs, so you'll need Adobe Acrobat reader to view those. Most computers have this already installed, but it's a free download, if you need to get it. All sermons, if you receive any as part of a bonus for buying, require Microsoft Word.

Can I see a sample before I decide?

Yes, you can! If you click this link, you can download the introductory material and chapter 1 of the slide deck to check it out. It's completely editable as well!
